Install CODA

Unpack Distribution

The CODA distribution used is 2.6, which is similar to 2.5, but incorporates elements for the future 3.0 distribution. The distro should be unpacked in the directory /usr/local/coda/2.6.

Set up msql Database

Communication with the msql database is accomplished with the deamon msqld. Make the database is within the directory CODA/common/rcdb.

Database name: PCSE

Session name: Luter345

Configuration: Linux test

If changes are made to the msql database, the Cool database must be updated with the translation utility.

Create the new PCSE database in the GUI

Create read out code {/root/halla120/coda/linuxvme/v775/c792_linux_list.so arg1} {/root/halla120/coda/linuxvme/examples/event_list.so arg1}

Create event builder (EB1)

Create event recorder (ER1)

Create Coda file

Connect ER1 to Coda file

Connect EB1 to ROC1
